Another option is feed whole raw foods! They keep teeth clean and mouths healthy, very minimum dental cleanings needed.
Umm, it’s getting more and more expensive to own a cat than a child ;-)
Only use tootpaste recommended for pets, such as CET. Also try dental chews for cats, such as Virbac, by CET. Chewing them releases an enzyme that fights tartar build-up.
Can it be brush with the electric like Oral B electric toothbrush. I mean it seem to has the perfect size brush head for cats..
I thionk it fine just be very careful about the brushing with the electric toothbrush.Use low speed.
I agree that with no Junk Food Diet.It gonna keep cat's (or dogs, even human) teeth clean and mouths healthy. If our pets are fed a natural diet, the teeth will clean themselves.
My cat with the good teeth and I have invented a game. We play toothbrush wrestling. He grabs the toothbrush in his mouth ( I try to position it in different areas) and he chews on it. I figure he must be getting some bristles against his teeth - and since he’s big, strong, and willful, its about the most I can do without losing a couple of fingers.
Let face it.Pet food industry will never admit to this - they’re making too much money from it.The cause of dental problems in our pets is the junk food specifically dry kibble loaded with simple carbs.
learned it ;-)
